Official death scroll in memory of Private Edward Pummeroy, of the 58th Battalion, AIF. He was kiilled on active service during World War I. The scroll was issued by King George V. to commemorate the service and death of soldiers during World War I.
Part of a collection of material donated to Museum Victoria in 1988 by Miss Ida Murphy in memory of her brother William Murphy, who died during World War II, and her uncle Edward Pummeroy.

Physical Description
An official scroll that bears a large black, blue, red and yellow British Coat of Arms at the top and a few sentences below. The memorial scroll, on cream-coloured paper, is headed by a Royal Crest, partially coloured, with GV RI at the top and the slogan 'Dieu et mon Droit' at its base. All of the lettering is black or blue except for: Pte Edward Pummeroy 58th Bn. AIF
