It uses size 6-16 roll film and takes images measuring 2.5 x 4.25 inches. It is made of metal which is covered with leather on all sides except the front, which features a geometric art deco design.
Physical Description
Black box camera, Kodak 'Brownie' 616. View finders on top and side for portrait/landscape photographs. Metal film winder and metal shutter lever on right side of camera. Top has two metal pins, possibly once used for attaching strap. Front of camera features a geometric art deco design in silver and black on a metal plate which is screwed to the front. Lens is in centre of front, with a metal lever below it which allows one lens to be hidden away if the camera is at close range to the subject.

Front of camera, left: "5 TO 10 / FEET". Front of camera, right: "BEYOND / 10 FEET". On body of camera (once removed from box), on right side, printed on sticker: 'PAT. IN CANADA / 1932 / PRINTED IN U.S.A. / NO.54683' and extended other text about which Kodak film to use.
