'Blow' brand glass butter churn. Capacity of two imperial quarts.
Blow's butter churns were advertised in Australian newspapers from at least 1923, when the Morning Bulletin in Rockhampton advertised 'Butter in two minutes' and explained that the Blow butter churn will 'make one pound of butter into two. That's what every house wife is looking for.' As late as 1951 Blow butter churns were still be advertised new in the Singleton (NSW) Argus.
