Physical Description
Black wool; red piping down front and edge of back panel, and the edge of cloth epaulettes. Stand collar with red broadcloth, edged with yellow silk braid, and exploding grenade badges. Nine brass Victorian Military Forces buttons made by Beckworths Ltd, London down front, and two buttons on epaulettes at neck edge. Eight buttons on skirt at back, made by H. W. Martin, London. Chevron of gold and red brocade on right sleeve above yellow silk braid. Gilt letters on shoulders. Black sateen lining.
