Summary
Handwritten description of an early telephone receiver developed by Alexander Graham Bell. It was possibly written by Edward Symonds sometime in the period 1876 to 1877. Symonds was Bell's uncle.
It was acquired by Symonds during a visit to the Bell family in Brantford, Ontario and taken by Symonds to Australia.
