This helmet represents an important aspect of public health legislation, being the first helmet acquired by the Museum since the wearing of safety helmets became mandatory in 1990.
Physical Description
Helmet made of white rigid plastic outer shell lined with expanded polystyrene rigid foam and soft foam padding. Black synthetic fabric tape straps with Velcro fastening pads. Black circular logo on front of hemlet.
