Summary
Two identical gauges used to check 5 and 8 track paper tapes used in computer input. The gauge checks that the tape is of the correct width and that the tape's holes are accurately spaced in the horizontal and aligned in the transverse.
Physical Description
Both gauges are almost identical and are housed within blue vinyl slip cases. There is a sheet of printed instructions which accompany the gauges.

Inscriptions
Both gauges: Inscribed on the front is: "RC / paper tape gauge" on the back is: "RC / AS / REGNECENTRALEN / SCANDINAVIAN INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEMS / PAT. PEND." One of the gauges also has a green dymo label on the back which reads: "Datacomp 2."
