Dental chair, fully controllable with multiple tilt and support adjustments, circa 1955. Accompanied by an electrically operated Yoshida ceramic spit bowl/stand.
The chair was used for demonstration purposes only at the University of Melbourne. It bears no manufacturer marks.
Physical Description
Beige enamel metal reclining dental chair with black vinyl-covered seat and arm rests and black rubber-covered footplate. Two rubber covered discs provide head support. Chrome base, handles, levers, trim and dials. Three chrome foot pedals.
