It was acquired from the Commonwealth Department of Supply in 1963.
Physical Description
Depth charge and detonator, comprising a metal cylinder 708 mm long x 445 mm diameter. Sectioned to show interior, with wood inserts in gaps; hollow core in centre, with filling hole at bottom. Two metal rings at each end of cylinder. Red band & green spots painted around middle. Detonator comprises metal cylinder 135 mm long x 85 mm diameter with brass fittings & metal handle. Two metal rings at each end, marked (see Inscriptions).
