Gold identity tag for wear on the wrist. Worn by Jack Wedgewood during World War I.
Jack Wedgewood, service # 13085, served in the 4th Mechanical Transport Company A.I.F. This nine carat gold identity disc was probably presented to him by family and friends. He enlisted on 10 April 1916 and returned on 23 July 1919. He was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal, gazetted in London on 18 January 1919.
