Summary
Printed adhesive label/sticker presented to Zofia Kozuch with a bible at her Naturalization Ceremony on 19 October 1961 in Coburg.
It was a gift from the City of Coburg and The British and Foreign Bible Society. The gifting of a bible at naturalization ceremonies was a common practice at this time, although it seems to have been up to the individual local councils. The gifting of a bible was still done by some local councils into the 1980s.
However voluntary gifts suggested in the current Department of Immigration 'Australian Citizenship Ceremonies Code' do not include a bible.
Physical Description
Rectangular sticker with typed text and an image of Queen Elizabeth II in the top right corner.
