Summary
Windmill model made by William McCook. Model constructed from metal with a rotating wheel and vane. 'Guanaco' is painted on the vane. McCook was interested in the Guanaco windmill that was manufactured by Flint & Walling Manufacturing Company in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. The 'Review of the River Plate' (Revista del Ri´o de La Plata, published in Argentina in 1922), includes advertisements for the Guanaco windmill, similar to this model.
