Longcase clock, made by John Hamilton, Glasgow, circa 1783.
Physical Description
Wooden case with break arch dial. Has scrolls on pediment with urns as finials and capital. Square brass dial with metal ornaments in the spandrels. Seconds dial below 12. An aperture above 6 shows the year. Lunar dial below the arch. Weight driven; anchor escapement.
