Summary
Part of a music engraving tool set used mostly by Gordon Baker who worked for a. Kynoch & Co. Pty. Ltd. in Melbourne from the 1930s to the 1980s. Gordon Baker was apprentice to his father Jack. At the time, Gordon was the only music engraver working in Australia.
This box holds 70 alphabetical, numerical and musical punches.
Each punch has a line engraved on the stem so the punch can be held in the correct orientation while being used to punch a symbol on the pewter plate, that is the line should be facing the engraver.

Rectangular box holding 70 alphabetical, numerical and musical punches. A small card shows the position of the punches in the rows.
