Summary

Two Teletype machines model 3320 on stands with 'QWERTY' keyboard, made by Teletype Corp., U.S.A. with 'Teletype attachments and 1 roll paper'. ASCII keyboard. Automatic Sending and Receiving unit, combines a keyboard, page printer, reperforator (paper tape punch) and tape transmitter. Can transmit directly from keyboard or paper tape. Receives either by page printing or punching paper tape. Tape may be punched from keyboard while off-line for later transmission. Uses ASCII codes.

Physical Description

Machine One: Beige coloured metal unit consisting of a keyboard on a stand with a roll of paper at the back. Paper tape reader and punch on left hand side. Grey electrical flex with three point pin. Machine Two: Beige coloured metal unit consisting of a qwerty keyboard on a stand with a roll of paper at the back. Paper tape reader and punch on left hand side. Switch on right hand side to alternate between Local and Remote Reader. Other: Box containg attachments and paper roll. Attachments include: Two document holders; Paper roll; Parts catalogue for printer; Technical manual: Type 33 Teletypewriter Set; Data cable; Manual for Model 33 Teletypewriter Sets; Drawings
