Fortis released the Autorist in 1931, using an automatic mechanism invented by John Harwood. The watch was powered by movements of the watch strap by means of its attachment to the watch.
Physical Description
Rectangular chrome case which opens. White metal face has black arabic numerals. Self-winding spring; lever escapement.
