Plays Westminster chimes on four tubes and Whittington chimes on eight tubes.
Physical Description
Square top case with carved foliage on pediment. Four small dials below arch to control chiming. Silvered chapter ring with raised gilt numbers (arabic). Centre of dial gilt and inscribed with foliage. Seconds dial below twelve. Trunk has ornate door with glass panels showing weights, chimes and compensated pendulum. The pallets are jewelled with garnet. The clock has four trains of gears and weights- playing tunes, striking the time, keeping time, and chiming. These are individually wound. Weight driven.
