Summary
Sectioned 1:48 scale model of a Comet 1 was donated to the Museum by BOAC in July 1953. It was apparently a model commissioned by the airline for publicity and promotional purposes.
Physical Description
Wood and plastic model aeroplane painted silver, blue and white with sectioned body and wings cut short. Inside the aeroplane the cockpit, galley and passenger seating areas can be seen.
