Summary
Three pieces of shiny grey crystalline material, Galena or Lead Sulphide, used in radios. Properties of this crystal were discovered by Braun in 1874. Possibly artificial in origin.
Galena was the most popular material to be used in cat's whisker detectors.

Three pieces of shiny grey crystalline material and a display board on which the pieces had been previously mounted. Missing is one piece embedded in Wood's Metal.
