Summary

Small wall mounted telephone manufactured about 1920. Brassware has been polished and set painted to make wood grain effect.

Physical Description

Wooden box painted to give wood grain effect with two brass bells on top, brass handset on the left hand side with a textile cord and a brass receiver on the front with silver metal dial below. Inside wooden box (hinged right hand side) contains electrical wires and components. Hole for hanging unit on back in centre with four circular wooden feet around.
