VT90 transmitting triode, made by STC in Australia.
The valve is sectioned for demonstration purposes.
Known as a "micropup" tube, it was used in radar transmitters. A pair of these electronic valves could give a pulse of 10 kilowatts.
It was equivalent to 8011 (USA..).
The filament was rated at 8.25 volts at 7 amps, anode at 9 kv. It was capable of a continuous output of 200 watts up to 300 MHz. Its amplification factor was 16.
