Summary
Two dual diode triode in which the diode sections were used for the signal detector and automatic volume control (AVC) rectifier and the triode section was used for the first audio stage in radio receivers. Replaced by octal type 6B6-G. One made by National Union and the other by RCA. 6.3 volt indirectly heated cathode.
Physical Description
Shouldered glass bulb with top cap and American style 6 pin base. Mounted on display block with a sectioned example of the same type.
