Summary
Two HeptodeType 2A7 Electronic Valves, circa 1934; one manufactured by Hygrade and the other by Ken-Rad. The heptode or pentagrid converter combined the functions of local oscillator and mixer in the one valve. The 6A7 is same valve with a 6.3 volt heater. 2.5 volt indirectly heated cathode.
