Summary
This frequency changer uses a separate triode section as the local oscillator, the grid of which is connected internally to the third grid of the heptode mixer.
6.3 volt indirectly heated cathode. Used as frequency changer in superheterodyne radio receivers.
Physical Description
Shouldered glass bulb with top cap and octal base with most of bulb removed. The top part of the bulb is detached from the rest of the valve. Mounted on display block.
