Used as a class A RF amplifier in radio receivers, manufactured by Mullard and introduced in 1928.
It had a 4 volt indirectly heated cathode.

One of the first indirectly heated Alternating Current screen grid (tetrode) tubes produced in England. Indirectly heated tubes made the operation of radios from the AC mains possible.

Physical Description

Four pin European base with top cap. The valve is sectioned and bulb removed and placed on a wooden base for display purposes.
