Summary
Sharp cut-off pentode designed for use as an audio amplifier, RF or IF amplifier, autodyne frequency changer or detector in radio receivers. This is the 6.3 volt version of the type 57, later released with an octal base as the 6J7G. 6.3 volt indirectly heated cathode.

Shouldered glass bulb with top cap and American style 6 pin base mounted on display block.
