Summary
Originally designed for use in television receivers in the late 1930s, this valve was designated 1852. It was later given the RMA designation 6AC7 and was used extensively during World War II in radar equipment and other applications requiring wide-band amplification. 6.3 volt indirectly heated cathode. Used as class A RF amplifier.
Physical Description
A metal valve with the envelope removed, exposing the electrode structure. Octal base. Mounted on display block.
