Triode designed for use at decimetre wavelengths (1 decimetre = 3 Ghz). The unusual construction was designed to minimise distance between the electrodes and the pins, necessary to permit operation in the GHz range.
Manufactured for: German armed forces. Manufacturer: Lorenz, Germany. This type would have been used in German radar equipment in World War II (1939-1945).

The threaded fitting at the top originally held a knob to make it easy to extract the valve from its socket.
12.6 volt indirectly heated cathode.

Cylindrical bulb with dome top wiith threaded fitting over exhaust tip. Five pins recessed in bottom.
