12.6 volt indirectly heated cathode at 150 ma. 6 volt. 12C8 type pentode, double diode, pentode, double diode. Manufactured by Ken-Rad, Owensboro, KY, USA, 1944.
The diodes in this valve were designed for use as the signal detector and automatic gain control rectifier in radio receivers, the pentode section had a semi-remote cut-off characteristic and was designed to be used as either an IF or audio amplifier. Equivalent to the 6B8 except for the heater voltage.
