I. M. E. Digicorder for IME86 calculator. Magnetic core memory program unit, 512 byte, made in Italy circa 1969.

The memory system is divided into 8 zones of 64 program steps. Edge-punched card reader can be fed in, each card using up to 64 steps. Branching and conditional program steps are possible. See also trade literature.

Physical Description

Calculator: Beige box with Nixie display and a keyboard. Programmer: Grey and white metal box with controls in front and a card or paper tape input and output (?) on the sides, with mains lead. Component Lead: Lenght of grey insulated cable with male plug at one end and female plug at the other. Female plug: DD51216 1 Male plug: DD5.216 1 Mains Lead: Black insulated cable with mains plug at one end and component plug at the other.
