Black enamel hand operated sewing machine, made in Berlin by Frister & Rossman circa 1899 to 1914. It was most likely sold in London during the same period by W. Pierssene who was the sole agent for Frister & Rossman sewing machines at this time. It was brought to Australia, via South Africa by the mother of Mr H. Simpson of Murrumbeena.

Black enamel hand operated sewing machine, with gold scroll decoration. The machine is on a metal base which is set into a larger wooden base.
