Summary
This wax model was based on a specimen grown and presented to the museum by Fricke, a farmer farmer from Carisbrook near Maryborough, 1875. The model was made in the museum by Thomas McMillan.
Synonym: Prince Bismarck. This apple is a cooking variety and is harvested in winter. This Victorian seedling was raised by Benjamin Clarkson, gardener, of Smoky Gully, Carisbrook near Maryborough. The first fruit was distributed in 1874.
