Manufacturer's identification plate originally fitted to a New York, Chicago & St. Louis Railroad (Nickel Plate Road) Locomotive, 4-6-4, No. 174. This locomotive was the first 4-6-4 constructed by the Lima Lomotive Works. It was used handling the main trains of the railroad between Buffalo and Chicago.
