SC/MP (INS8060) microprocessor chip. Developed by National in mid 1970s.
The SC/MP (simple cost-effective microprocessor) is an 8-bit p-channel MOS device. It has a single accumulator and 4 16-bit address pointer registers. It can address 65,000 bytes with a supply voltage of 10 to 14 volts. It is CMOS compatible. Cf. Hordeski "Microprocessor Cookbook".

40 Pin, Black plastic package, 2.54mm pin spacing, 15.25mm (.6 inch) wide, 20 pins each side.
