Summary
UV201A triode, made for R. C. A. in the United States. It was manufactured from 1922 to 1925. It is a general purpose valve.
In the 1920s, it would have been the most common electronic valve in the United States of America. It was used in most radios as an amplifier or detector. In those days, electronic valves and loudspeakers were sold separately from the radio; so people could choose the type they preferred.
It is electrically equivalent to valve types 201A and 01A. The filament uses 5 volts at 250 ma. Its mutual conductance is 725 micromho and its amplification factor is 8.
Physical Description
