6.3 V indirectly heated cathode, manufactured by Electric Tubes Ltd., England, 1945-1949. Manufactured for A.C. Cossor Ltd. England. The 7C5 is a beam tetrode equivalent to the octal type 6V6GT.
At the end of World War II, Cossor joined with Sylvania Products Inc. in the U.S.A. to form a company called Electric Tubes Ltd. to manufacture valves using the Cossor brand. Cossor ceased valve manufacture in 1949, selling their interest in Electric Tubes Ltd. to E.M.I. Ltd.
