Summary
Economical small output pentode capable of producing 3.6 watts of output. Used in Australian radios from 1936 to 1938, it remained in production in Europe until the 1950s.
The octal version is the EL32.
6.3 volt indirectly heated cathode.
There is enough information in the partially illegible bulb inscription to indicate that this valve was made in England by Mullard.

Physical Description
Small shouldered glass bulb, with top cap, on side contact base with 8 contacts. Getter has turned white indicating a loss of vacuum. Base is loose - a common fault with side contact bases.
