Summary
2.5 volt directly heated cathode, manufactured by Philips, Holland. Power pentode for use in the output stages of radio receivers. The PH prefix was used to distinguish this valve from the RCA247 which it was designed to replace. The type number was abbreviated to 47 by all manufacturers in the early 1930s.
