Octal based equivalent to the pre-octal type 1D4. 2.0 volt directly heated cathode at 240 ma. mutual conductance 2400. output 750 milliwatts, Manufactured by AWV, Sydney for Department of Defence (Australia), 1938-1945.

This valve was one of a series of valves with 2 volt filaments that AWV developed between 1935 and 1938 and which were not manufactured elsewhere.
