Summary
Triode, used as a detector, amplifier (Class A) or oscillator in mains powered receivers. Manufactured during the 1930s and 1940s by Valve Manufacturer Osram in England. VR37 is the British military designation for the MH4 triode manufactured by Marconi Osram Valve Company. It is also known as a CV1037. This valve was also manufactured in an external anode form called a Catkin.
