Triode, used as a resistance coupled amplifier (Class A) in radios and audio amplifiers, manufactured for: Radio Corporation of America. Introduced 1926, produced until the 1930s.
This tube was a high mu version of the UX201A, it was designed to give a gain per stage when resistance coupled similar to that obtained from a UX201A using transformer coupling. 5 volt directly heated cathode.
