Summary

Triode, used as a detector and amplifier in radios, manufactured by Westinghouse Electric and Manufacturing Company (for RCA). It was introduced in 1923 and discontinued in 1926.

This tube was electrically identical to the WD11 also manufactured by Westinghouse. The WD11 was fitted with a unique base, whereas the WD12 had a UV base, in common use at the time.

Technical details: 1.1 volt directly heated cathode, dull emitter. Anode voltage 22.5 Volts
