Low power consumption triode developed just after the end of WW 1. Known as a 'Peanut tube'.Valve is contained in manufacturer's box.

This valve was designed to be used in battery operated equipment. The voltage between 0.85 and 1.1 V that was required to obtain the required filament current of 0.25A could be obtained from a single dry cell. It was one of the first commercial valves to use an oxide coated cathode. It continued in production until the 1940s as replacements for military equipment that used them.
0.25 amp directly heated cathode.
Physical Description
Small tubular bulb with exhaust tip on top and a 4 pin moulded base unique to this type. The valve is in its original box.
