Large audio power output triode, used as modulator and amplifier in radiotelephone transmitters. Developed by Westinghouse.
Manufacturer: Probably Hygrade Lamp Co. Salem Massachusetts, USA. But may have been made after their merger in 1931 with Sylvania, in which case the manufacturer would have been the Hygrade-Sylvania Corp.
Equivalent to RCA UX-250, it has an oxide coated filament which took 1.25 A at 7.5 V. Anode voltage was 450 with 4.7 watts output.
7.5 V directly heated cathode.
