Summary

"Magic Eye" tuning indicator used in domestic radios in the 1950s. The EM34 was unusual in that it had a dual display with two sensitivities to handle both weak and strong signals.
"Magic Eye" indicators provided a circular fluorescent display with a dark segment that varied in width in response to the automatic volume control (AVC) voltage.
