Summary
Triode, made by Ken-Rad, USA, introduced in early 1930s. It was used in battery powered radios as a general purpose amplifier and detector.
It had a 2.0 Volt directly heated cathode and used as class A audio amplifier.The Type 30 later became a Type "1H4G", which was fitted with an octal base.
