A general purpose triode originally made for use by the Royal Air Force (Great Britain) in 1918. Manufactured by: Osram Valve Works, England.
It has a 3 volt directly heated cathode.
This valve looks similar to the one shown in Tyne (see Bibliography) but has a standard European 4 pin base instead of the 3 contact 'Air Force' base shown.

Tubular glass bulb with conical top cap. European style 4 pin base with metal shell.
