Summary
Output valve for use in battery and AC/DC battery receivers using a 90 volt plate supply. Centre tapped filament could be operated on either 1.4 volts or 2.8 volts.
The centre tapped filament was used with the two halves in parallel in radios which used a 1.5 volt "A" battery. The two halves were operated in series in radios designed for use on batteries or mains which usually had all of the valve filaments in series to minimize the current that needed to be supplied to them.
