Summary
The VR18 is the British Services equivalent of the Cossor type 215SG. VR18 and 10E/7607 are the RAF designators for this type which later received the common services designation CV1018
The 215SG was introduced by Cossor around 1930 and apparently was designed into airborne equipment which remained in use in the 1940s.
Manufactured for: Royal Air Force (UK). Probably manufactured by Cossor Ltd.
It has a 2 volt directly heated cathode. Used as a Class A R.F. amplifier.
Physical Description
Conical zinc coated bulb, with provision for missing top cap, on European 4 pin base.
