Full wave rectifier. Widely used in mantel radios and other electronic equipment requiring a supply current of less than 70 mA. Also known as EZ35.
Mullard branded valves made in Australia were normally manufactured by Philips but comparing this valve with ST 026821 indicates that they were made by the same manufacturer which would almost certainly have been AWV in this case. AWV and Philips frequently made valves for each other to achieve some economy of scale in the small Australian market.
